Important Instructions

ESIC follows Government of India rules on age relaxation, community reservation and PwBD concessions.

SC/ST – up to 5 years; OBC – up to 3 years; PwBD – up to 10 years (maximum age on closing date not exceeding 56 years), with cumulative relaxation for SC/ST/OBC PwBD as per norms. Ex‑Servicemen and ECOs/SSCOs – age relaxation up to 5 years subject to conditions on length of service and release certificates. Only candidates belonging to castes/communities in the Central List of SC/ST/OBC and having valid, current certificates in the prescribed format will get reservation benefits; multiple applications in different categories will lead to rejection.
