The relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidates is allowed on a cumulative basis with only one of the remaining categories (c to e above). IDBI Bank offers a structured pay scale along with allowances, perquisites, and Performance Linked Variable Pay as applicable to each grade. Selected candidates are covered under the IDBI Bank Ltd. New Pension Scheme (IBLNPS) Rules, 2011. Initial appointment for all posts is on probation for 1 year, ordinarily confirmed on completion of the probation period.

The application fee varies by category and must be paid online only; it is non-refundable under any circumstances. Payment can be made via Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Card, Internet Banking, or Wallets. Bank transaction/convenience charges must be borne by the candidate.

Selection is based on a multi-stage process, and merely meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for the next stage. Preliminary Screening: Based on age, educational qualification, and experience declared in the application form. Document Verification (DV): Verification of all declared details against original documents. Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates are called based on qualification, experience, and overall suitability. Pre-Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT): Final offer is subject to being declared medically fit as per the Bank's Medical Fitness Standards.
