OTET Exam Date 2026 - Latest Update

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has rescheduled the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test, OTET 2026, to 21 June 2026 in offline mode across the state. OTET 2026 will be conducted in two shifts on the same day - Paper 1 in the morning and Paper 2 in the afternoon for primary and upper primary teaching eligibility.

As per the detailed schedule, OTET Paper 1 will be conducted from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and Paper 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. The official exam date and timetable have been notified through the OTET 2026 notice and subsequent reschedule notification published by BSE Odisha.

OTET 2026 Overview

The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level eligibility test for candidates who wish to become teachers for Classes I to VIII in government, private aided, and private unaided schools of Odisha. The exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, Cuttack once a year, in two papers - Paper I for primary level and Paper II for upper primary level.
