The notification specifies block/project-wise (Pariyojna-wise) vacancies separately for Karyakartri and Sahayika posts, with category-wise reservation (UR, OBC, SC/ST). Only women candidates are eligible to apply for both Karyakartri and Sahayika posts. Candidates must meet the educational qualification and age limit prescribed below. The minimum educational qualification for both Anganwadi Karyakartri and Sahayika posts is Intermediate (12th) or equivalent. The date of birth recorded in the High School certificate/marksheet will be considered valid for age calculation. Category-wise age relaxation, if any, is not mentioned in the official notification.

Selection is merit-based, prepared according to educational qualification, with a defined priority order applicable in rural areas for candidates residing in the same gram sabha/ward. The official notification specifies the following selection priority flow chart: Widow Legally divorced / abandoned (parityakta) woman Other BPL woman Widow Legally divorced / abandoned (parityakta) woman Other APL woman If no candidate below the poverty line is found in the above priority order, preference within the same priority order will then be given to a woman living above the poverty line. For widow candidates: Death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay, along with a certified copy of the family register (parivar panjika). For legally divorced/abandoned candidates: A valid legal order issued by the competent court. Residence certificate and caste certificate: Only online, digitally signed certificates issued from the Tehsil level, verifiable online, will be accepted. Income certificate: Issued by the competent authority as per Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended), verifiable online. Educational qualification certificates/marksheets (High School and above, as applicable). Self-attested, clean and legible scanned copies of all documents mentioned in the online application form.

Applications must be submitted only through the online portal upanganwadibharti.in; offline or postal applications/documents will not be accepted. If any error, discrepancy, or forged/incorrect data or marks is found in the application, educational records, or supporting documents, the candidature will be cancelled. The number of advertised vacancies may increase or decrease.
