Selection to the House Surgeon post will be made purely on merit , determined on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the professional MBBS university examinations - 1st Professional, 2nd Professional, and Final Professional MBBS. House Surgeon: ₹70,000 per month Each selected candidate must deposit a security amount of ₹20,000 before joining duty. This security is forfeited, and no House Job completion certificate is issued, if the House Surgeon leaves before completing the full tenure or is discharged due to unsatisfactory conduct.

These House Jobs are for general, emergency, and specialized duties - not for a single specialty. No TA/DA will be paid for journeys undertaken for counseling or interview. The maximum tenure of House Job appointment for any particular candidate is one year.
